Pulltabs are another fun and exciting version of playing a bingo game. However, there is no limit to how many games are played or how much money you can win. Referred to as an Event Pulltab the determination of whether you are entered into a game or you have an instant winner is similar to buying scratch-off lottery tickets. However, instead of scratching a pulltab you tear open the back perforated portion (the window) of the pulltab to see if you are entered into the event.
The pulltab event begins when the caller starts the bingo ball blower and announces each bingo ball as it comes out of the hopper. If you have numbers inside the back window of your pulltab you daub them just like a regular bingo game. You must daub all of the numbers before you yell bingo. If you are entered into a derby event with either a horse or jockey you will not have to daub. Just hold your ticket (number 1 to 15) until the caller announces the game is over and lets you know what ticket has won the event.
There are a range of cash prize amounts for event pulltabs. The highest amount for a single event is $599 per ticket. The Post plays event pulltabs with multiple payouts and you have a chance to win these too by purchasing multiple pulltab tickets. In addition, some event pulltab games are played simultaneously and you can win well over $1,000 with a single draw of the balls.
